Switch OER platform for Swiss higher education institutions
Switch OER the platform for Open Educational Resources from Swiss higher education institutions is live. Switch is currently operating the platform with 5 pilot partners and with the software edu-sharing.Materials can be searched and downloaded free of charge.
- The publication of OER is only possible for lecturers at Swiss universities that have subscribed to the service.
- Materials are referenced with DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and with standardized metadata for high visibility.
- The search interface and backend are available in English, German, and French, with Italian translation currently in progress.
Already today there are 700 OER materials online.
